We are seeking a well-qualified individual to deliver high-quality lessons and excellent pastoral care across KS3 and KS4. It is an exciting time to join St Edmund’s Catholic Academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding.

Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

Excellent behaviour and student progress for all are underpinned by our CARE values (Calm - Aspirational - Respectful - Engaged) upheld by all who work or study at St Edmund’s.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established and high performing team and will:

Be able to teach RE at KS3 and KS4. (There is the potential to teach KS5 for suitably skilled candidates)

Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
