What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2026, we are seeking to recruit an exceptional teacher of Religious Education and Geography to join our dynamic and forwarding thinking Humanities team. You will be a highly skilled and enthusiastic practitioner who can inspire students and help us to raise attainment in this key subject.

We have a high attaining, engaged student body with students who enjoy, and thrive in, Religious Education. RE is a valued and supportive subject with a strong team of subject specialists and shared resources. The successful candidate will be able to inspire our students with engaging learning opportunities and have a track record of delivering good lessons with the ability to secure progress for every student.

This is an exciting time to work within our friendly and supportive geography department, with the immediate implementation of a brand new KS3 geography curriculum that has been recommended by the Geographical Association. We also enjoy many exciting local fieldwork opportunities and there is potential to work to support our eco-committee which was identified by Ofsted as an example of student leadership empowerment.
