What skills and experience we're looking for
The ability to teach History at KS3 would be an advantage. The role is advertised as full time with a possibility for 0.8 FTE and there is the potential for TLR2b for a suitably experienced candidate to lead the subject.
The successful candidate should be well qualified and dynamic and capable of facilitating excellent learning. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work within a strong, successful and supportive department and would suit an enthusiastic ECT or a more experienced professional looking to further their expertise.

The Charles Dickens School is part of Barton Court Academy Trust, a small, ambitious Trust which also comprises a high achieving grammar school and another non-selective school which opened in September 2022.
