What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a Teacher of RE, PSHE and Citizenship who can join an experienced staff team. We are keen to appoint someone who can sustain and drive our existing provision. The development of RE, PSHE and Citizenship are key focus for our school.

The successful candidate will have the experience and passion to drive this provision forward, working closely within the team.

The successful candidate will:

• be up-to-date with subject specific pedagogical approaches in RE, PSHE/RSHE and Citizenship
• be knowledgeable of local and national policy and practice in RE, PSHE/RSHE and citizenship.
• Have experience of teaching all or a combination of RE, PSHE/RSHE and Citizenship
• Have a willingness to teach across all 3 disciplines
• Be willing to attend and engage in subject specific CPD
• Be willing to support whole school events to promote RE, PSHE/RSHE and Citizenship across school and within the wider school community
• have very high expectations of all students at all times
• play a full part in the life of the school community, support the Trust and school mission and ethos and encourage staff and students to follow this example
• ensure the consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all students
• contribute significantly to the continued development and success of the Personal Development strategy
• be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development
