What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of Religious Education. Judged “good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in May 2019. Our Roman Catholic, Salesian school, strives to ensure that all its young people are given the opportunity and support they need to achieve their best, fulfil their true potential, and go out into the world confident and ready to ‘earn their own bread.’

We are seeking a talented individual to deliver high quality Religious Education lessons across KS3-KS5 and to support other curriculum areas where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to teach Religious Education at KS3-4 and have the potential to teach Religious Education at KS5
• Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St John Bosco College and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
