Teacher of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics - with ability to teach a second subject job summary

Due to significant growth in student numbers, we wish to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and motivated teacher of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics, to join the College from 31st August 2021. Applications will be most welcome from both experienced teachers of 16-19 education and those newly qualified wishing to specialise in sixth form teaching. All NQTs will receive excellent support and guidance as they start their career at the College. Ideally, candidates will have excellent subject knowledge in teaching A level Religion, Philosophy & Ethics together with knowledge in teaching one of the following subjects:- Business & Economics, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or Geography (Please indicate second subject on application form) It is hoped to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who would want to contribute to the future success of the department and be fully involved in the delivery of courses for the 16-19 age group. They should aim to make their teaching an exciting experience for students and to engage them in a wide range of activities which enhance their understanding and commitment. VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS ARE SCHEDULED FOR WEEK COMMENCING 1st MARCH 2021
