What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint an inspiring, inventive and well-qualified Teacher of Religious Education to join an exceptional RE team for September 2024. The department has been judged as Outstanding in denominational inspections since 2013 and in March 2019.
You will be joining a skilled, energetic and committed team so we are seeking an excellent candidate who can continue to raise the quality of provision to enable the best possible outcomes for all of our students.

Purpose of Job:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum to students and to support the curriculum area as appropriate.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and personal development of students
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
- To keep up to date with national developments in the subject and teaching practice and methodology.
- To ensure effective communication/consultation as appropriate with the parents/ guardians of students
- To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
- To play a full part in the life of the school community, to support its distinctive mission and ethos and to encourage staff and students to follow this example.

St Gregory’s Catholic School is a Catholic secondary school and part of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership (KCSP).
