What skills and experience we're looking for

  • A good Honours Graduate in an appropriately related discipline with Qualified Teacher Status (or due to achieve in Summer 2026
  • We are looking to welcome a motivated, inspiration and enthusiastic individual with experience and/or teaching practice as a classroom teacher of Religious Education. The appointed applicant will have the skill to inspire our young people to ask the big questions of meaning, purpose and faith in their lives and to encourage them to achieve their best. We therefore expect applicants to have an excellent understanding of Religious Education in a Catholic School; both its teaching and assessment, along with the ability to implement strategies to inform teaching and help students to develop and progress.
  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. For an exceptional candidate the opportunity to work within the department leadership Team is a possibility; for which a teaching a learning responsibility allowance would be available.
