About the role

Lead, shape and develop how Religious Education is taught across the Academy, ensuring alignment to Trust principles and the reliability and validity of data. This is a key appointment in the school’s development and the successful applicant will play an integral role in the growth and development of the Academy. The successful candidate will be a model of professionalism, a dynamic team player and an outstanding practitioner in their own right.

  • Lead, shape and develop how Religious Education is taught across the Academy, ensuring alignment to Trust principles and the reliability and validity of data.
  • Play a full and active role in ensuring that Academy policies are adhered to and implemented in an effective manner.
  • Ensure that teaching is broad, balanced, relevant, motivational and appropriately differentiated in order to maximise the academic potential of all students.
