What skills and experience we're looking for
Required from September 2026, we are looking to appoint a committed and inspiring Teacher of Religious Studies to join our successful department. You will join a strong and flourishing Religious Studies department within a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities team that places a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and excellence in teaching and learning. The faculty comprises a team of specialist practitioners delivering a broad and engaging curriculum, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies across all key stages; Business Studies at KS4 and 5; and Sociology, Politics, and Economics at KS5. These subjects are consistently popular at Key Stage 3, leading to multiple classes at both GCSE and A Level, and we have a strong record of examination success. In 2025 at GCSE, 16% of Religious Studies students achieved Grade 9, while 63% secured Grades 9–7. At A Level, 44% of students attained A*/A grades.
