Teacher of Religious Studies & Citizenship job summary

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Religious Studies and Citizenship teacher who is innovative and inspiring with the ability to deliver a curriculum that engages our students. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subject and inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for the subjects. The post will involve working with the SLT line attached for Religious Studies and Citizenship on the strategic oversight, preparation and leadership of those subjects across all Key Stages, ensuring that students make progress and staff deliver a knowledge rich curriculum through quality first teaching. The postholder can demonstrate their commitment to their subject and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration and staff subject development. They will play a key role in ensuring that the continual improvement of the quality of students learning is at the top of the business agenda and will be responsible for developing and leading the department to ensure its long-term success and sustainability.
