TEACHER OF RS job summary
In this rapidly expanding 'Good' school, we are looking for an experienced and inspirational specialist to join our RS department from September 2022.
This is a job for an ambitious and committed individual.
The successful applicant will have a passion about learning, have strong inter-personal skills, be resilient, be an excellent teacher and have great subject knowledge including experience of GCSE specifications. They will be able to deliver RS up to KS4. The successful candidate will be expected to help run after school activities which is likely to focus on supporting students in small group interventions or may include running a club as part of our Extended Schools Provision.

The Religious Studies department comprises of 3 full-time Religious Studies teachers, including a Curriculum Leader. The job would suit an ECT or a more experienced teacher.

The Academy, sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford, moved into new purpose built accommodation in September 2013 and is benefiting from state of the art facilities and teaching. There are currently 1790 students on roll including 500 in the primary phase.
