Teacher of RS job summary

North Brent School opened in its brand new multi-million pound site in September 2026 as part of the highly successful Wembley Multi-Academy Trust. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing school and it continues to develop.

The RS Department

‘Achievement for All’ underpins everything we do across WMAT, and the Religious Studies department is uniquely positioned to equip students with the critical thinking, ethical understanding and cultural awareness they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

The Religious Studies department is led by enthusiastic, highly qualified and committed teachers, working with motivated, reflective and engaged students.

The department plans lessons collaboratively to ensure that resources are of a consistently high standard and that pedagogy is aligned across classes. Alongside this, the school offers a rich RS-focused co-curricular programme, with all staff contributing to extend students’ learning beyond the classroom.

Professional Development

Through the Training School Hub, leaders at all levels of the Trust benefit from exceptional professional development, including fully-funded, DfE-accredited NPQ programmes. These gold-standard qualifications empower our leaders to grow, drive change and make a meaningful impact within their departments and across the Trust. If you are excited by the prospect of shaping the next generation of digital thinkers and innovators, and you enjoy working within a culture of high aspiration and shared best practice, we would be delighted to hear from you.
