What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science with the ability to teach to a professional standard who understands effective student learning through challenging, high quality and exciting teaching methods. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a school that values academic excellence and holistic development.
The successful candidate will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students and will be determined to get the best from our diverse cohort of students, ensuring they make their very best progress. This will be achieved through planning and delivering engaging lessons, which will inspire our learners to succeed.
Applications are welcomed from talented and aspirant individuals who genuinely enjoy teaching and who have a commitment to continuing to improve students’ achievement and attainment. We are ambitious for our students and take great pride in being a positive and supportive learning community.
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified as well as more experienced professionals who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with our students to contribute to the continued improvement of the school.
What the school offers its staff
Our high standards are evident in a number of areas - academic, sporting, artistic, cultural and behaviour. We will never compromise on these high standards - and we will commit ourselves to helping our children to be the best they can be.
Our Sports College Status has brought with it substantial achievements - obviously sporting but also across other subjects and within the local community in areas such as our outstanding productions, community events such as the Senior Citizens Christmas Party, and our International School Award ~ the first to be awarded to a Dudley school. We are, furthermore, one of the first schools nationally to be granted our own Army Cadet Detachment.
