Are you a creative, inspiring, and dynamic Teacher of Science or looking to start your career in this specialism? Are you committed to delivering an ambitious, knowledge-rich curriculum? Then Bristnall Hall Academy may be able to give you the opportunity you are looking for. Our Science Faculty are looking for two Teachers of Science (1 x permanent, 1 x temporary maternity leave cover) to help inspire our students and ensure they reach their full potential.
We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Teachers of Science at Bristnall Hall Academy - one permanent and one to cover a fixed term maternity cover vacancy. The successful candidate will be someone who will supplement and enhance a strong established and supportive Science department.
This is an exciting time to join our academy as we celebrate our Outstanding Academy Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors stated that Bristnall Hall Academy is a “truly inclusive and harmonious school” and that “everyone is proud to be part of a close-knit school community that is working together with a common purpose.” Our staff “feel valued” and our classrooms “ooze enthusiasm and productivity”.
The successful candidates will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of science in the classroom. We are seeking an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across the key stages, and join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the teaching practice of others within the academy and beyond. We are keen to secure a high calibre teacher who can make a telling contribution to our forward-looking team.
The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive Science team; there is a very strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team including Lead Practitioners and a strong SLT.
