The Role:
You'll love this job if you are a passionate and creative science educator who thrives on inspiring students and fostering their love for science. You possess a deep understanding of science (preferably chemistry or physics theory), pedagogy, and curriculum development, and you are adept at designing engaging and innovative science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Your enthusiasm for science is contagious, and you have a knack for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to explore their science potential.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues, engage with students and parents, and contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture. You are adaptable, flexible, and willing to embrace new teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.

The School:
Our Science Department has a dedicated team of 5 subject specialist technicians. There is a dedicated science staff room for break and lunchtime relaxation. The school also has a designated quiet working space for teachers and a staff wellbeing group.
