Teacher of Science job summary

We are seeking a Science Teacher to join our highly successful team. Specialism to teach Physics to KS5 is desirable but not essential.

Science is a key subject within the school with all students taking either Separate or Combined Science at GCSE. In 2025, 84% of students achieved grades 9-4, putting the department among the top schools in the country. At A-Level, 76% achieved A*-C in Biology, 96% achieved A*-C in Chemistry and 43% achieved A*-B in Physics.

All three sciences are popular A level choices. In addition to A levels we offer Applied Science and Health and Social Care courses with students progressing to a wide range of STEM degrees and careers.
