Science at Baxter College has a rich and varied curriculum that allows the development of critical thinking and the opportunity to explore the world around us. The subject is centred around encouraging intrinsic curiosity and answering questions about natural phenomena that the students experience in daily life.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Science, who can inspire an attitude of discovery and encourage students to integrate subjects and ideas to become innovators in their field. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subject and inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for Science.

The post will involve working with the Head of Science to ensure that students make progress through quality first teaching. The post holder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to their subject and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of students' learning is at the top of the Trusts agenda. The ability to teach Science at KS3, KS4 & KS5 level is desirable, the ability to teach A Level Physics would be preferable.
