Who We Are Looking For
We want an inspirational individual, either currently training or an experienced practitioner, looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to progress into leadership when the time is right. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for rising standards in science
- The ability to lead, engage and motivate students using research to inform classroom practice
- High expectations for academic achievement and student outcomes
The department is raising standards and is a growing, close-knit team with a commitment to high standards at KS3 and 4. Lucy Grant, leader of science, is a teaching and learning specialist with excellent subject knowledge. She is keen to fully support the successful candidate with any scientific background or specialism.
