What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated Science teacher to join our vibrant Science faculty.

The Science department is a large department which also benefits from having 2 members of support staff as Science technicians. Studentsat GCSE either study Triple Science or Combined Science depending on their ability. Teaching groups are split at KS4 to ensure that staff are able to deliver their specialism. At KS5, Biology, Chemistry and Physics all are offered as A Levels and Applied Science as a vocational route.

What the school offers its staff

The Priory Ruskin Academy is a member of The Priory Federation of Academies Trust, an established and supportive MAT, there are around 60 Science teachers in the Trust and there is a likelihood that opportunities could arise across the Trust which could be explored at the end of the year if desired.
