Teacher of Science job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring science teacher to join our experienced science department from the start of the next academic year. Physics as your specialist subject is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will

  • Teach science at all key stages. The timetable will reflect expertise of the successful applicant.
  • Have a proven track record of raising achievement
  • Be a successful teacher of science with an awareness of curriculum development

Our School

Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2024.

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful comprehensive school for girls aged between 11 and 18. The school has expanded in recent years, is popular in the local community, and has a growing Sixth Form.
