We are seeking to appoint someone with excellent subject knowledge, who is able to respond positively and creatively to the expectations of the subject and has the ability to enthuse students.

Location and History

John Hanson Community School is a thriving, mixed gender 11-16 community school in South West Andover, Hampshire, with almost 1000 students. The school has a rich history, dating back to 1582, and was previously known as Andover Free School and Andover Grammar School. In 1974 the school was renamed John Hanson School in honour of its founder, and moved to the current site on Floral Way in 2001.
