The role:

An exciting opportunity have arisen to join our Science Department at Friesland School a full time Science Teacher. You will be responsible for inspiring students through your passion for teaching and for driving and maintaining a high standard of results. The role will teach across Key Stages 3 & 4.

The person:

We are looking for someone to join a committed team of teachers who work in a caring and supportive environment and who are focused on enabling each student to develop and excel. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved. The post would equally suit a confident and ambitious NQT or an experienced teacher with excellent subject knowledge, a willingness to learn and a passion for teaching.

All of our faculties are committed to continually improving the quality of teaching and learning and raising the aspirations of all students and therefore a willingness to share your knowledge and experience with others is essential. An ability to teach Physics would be an advantage.
