What skills and experience we're looking for

  • The ability to communicate a genuine passion for the subject and the capacity to teach to a high level;
  • Able to teach the curriculum across the age(11-16) and ability range;
  • Strong subject knowledge;
  • A record for securing good examination outcomes (unless new to role);
  • A genuine passion for engaging with young people of all ages and to establish positive relationships including with disengaged students;
  • Experience of using a wide range of teaching methodologies;
  • Able to communicate with students and parents about student’s progress;
  • Suitable for an NQT or a suitably qualified teacher.
