What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and talented Science teacher to join our thriving and supportive Science department. Under the leadership of our Director of Science, the department has made significant progress in recent years, reflected in our most recent GCSE outcomes. We are now looking for a committed individual to help us build on this success. The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, a passion for Science, and expertise in curriculum planning and delivery. They will play a key role in developing and teaching an engaging, challenging, and forward-thinking curriculum that inspires students and fosters a deep appreciation for the subject and its real-world applications. The ideal candidate will: Be able to teach Science to at least GCSE level (this is essential). Demonstrate a strong presence in the classroom and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. Be an inspirational and reflective practitioner with high expectations for all students. Have excellent organisational skills, energy, and the drive to contribute to a culture of high achievement. Be a committed team player who values collaboration and is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
