The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented science teacher with a specialism in chemistry (teaching science at Key Stage 3 and chemistry at Key Stage 4), to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be committed to continuous improvement, striving to be the best teacher you can be. As such, you will deliver exceptional lessons and secure outstanding learning, progress and attainment for every pupil. This role is 0.5 FTE over three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in science. They will be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and have a deep understanding of how to engage young people in science. They will also be committed to the personal development of pupils, inspiring and motivating them to achieve highly.
