What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Teacher of Science with an infectious passion for their subject and specialist subject knowledge to join us.
You will be part of a wider Science Team and will receive excellent support and opportunities for development within the Academy and across the Trust.
To be successful, you must be confident in the delivery of all scientific disciplines at KS3 and up to foundation GCSE level at KS4, as well as having the ambition and dedication to continue to support the development of the curriculum and wider curriculum in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. Passionate about your specialist subject, you will recognise the importance and impact that this area of the curriculum has on a student’s wider life and on their ability to be responsible, moral global citizens, ready to take their place in a tolerant and diverse world, confident and well informed to articulate and engage in debate and community life. Your input will be invaluable and must aim to inspire students within all areas of Science within and beyond the curriculum.
