About the Role

As Teacher of Science, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire curiosity, enquiry and a love of learning
  • Plan engaging lessons that support strong student progress
  • Use effective assessment strategies to monitor achievement
  • Create a positive and safe classroom environment
  • Support students academically, socially and emotionally
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and pastoral support

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • Has excellent subject knowledge in Science
  • Can teach across KS3 and GCSE level
  • Is passionate about raising achievement for all students
  • Has high expectations of behaviour and progress
  • Works effectively as part of a team
  • Is committed to inclusive education and student wellbeing
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm and creativity to the classroom
