What skills and experience we're looking for

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and supporting a designated curriculum area as appropriate. You will have the opportunity to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Science, together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students. As a Science Teacher, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations.A candidate with an interest or an ability to teach Psychology is desirable.

Lavington School is a mixed comprehensive school and currently has 965 students on roll, aged 11 to 18. It is situated on the western edge of the village of Market Lavington, about six miles south of Devizes, in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Numbers on roll have grown over the years with the school being over-subscribed. In 2018 the school opened its Sixth Form as a satellite centre of Devizes School.
