Sir Thomas Fremantle School is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our thriving department and help our students develop a deep curiosity about the world around them. Sir Thomas Fremantle School is an ambitious 11-16 secondary school at the heart of a close-knit community in North Buckinghamshire. With around 700 students, we pride ourselves on knowing each individual well and nurturing a strong sense of belonging. The Role
As a Teacher of Science at STFS, you will:

Deliver a broad and engaging Science curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4

Teach GCSE content confidently and support students in achieving strong outcomes
-
Create dynamic, inspiring lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning

Use assessment effectively to track progress and support the needs of all learners
-
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and cultivate a positive learning environment

Contribute to the development of schemes of learning, resources and enrichment activities

Play an active role in department and wider school life, including extracurricular opportunities

Hold a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status
