We seek to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Teacher of Science to join a strong department in a vibrant, high performing and over-subscribed 11-16 academy.
Beamont Collegiate Academy is a vibrant and dynamic school community with a strong emphasis on high expectations and aspirations. The academy is part of the Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) and is popular and oversubscribed and was judged ‘good’ by Ofsted in July 2022.
The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Science joining a team of experienced subject specialists.
This position is permanent and is suited to an individual with drive, passion and commitment who may be keen for career advancement in the future. The post is open to ECTs.
The successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS Certificate from the Disclosure & Barring Service. Details can be found on https://www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check.
Job Purpose: To work with the Head of Department to teach curriculum subject(s) across the age and ability range, to promote high achievement and full realisation of potential by working with individual students and playing a full and active role in the overall life and development of BCA.
Terms and Benefits
Salary: Teacher Main Scale to UPS 3 (£32,916 - £51,048)
