About You:
As a Teacher of Science at Caister Academy, you will be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviours, which we expect of pupils.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Qualified to degree level or above
- Good knowledge of the pedagogy associated with Science.
- Willingness to reflect upon your own experiences in a critical and constructive manner.
- Vibrant personality and interpersonal skills.

About the Science Department:
The science department at Caister Academy is a dedicated team who are passionate about ensuring students develop a love for their subject. We currently teach both combined and triple science, and have a robust curriculum that ensures our students achieve fantastic outcomes. Students value their time learning science and have a love for the written and practical elements of the subject. As well as this, we offer an extensive range of electives and enrichment opportunities, broadening students to think deeper and wider about the importance of science in the world. Outcomes for students within the department are extremely high with the vast majority of students achieving well and utilising their grades to move into further study.
