Teacher of Science job summary

Cansfield High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our dynamic team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This post is open to experienced and newly qualified teachers and is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic teacher who will be able to participate fully in the ongoing development of the subject as required in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

A creative approach to teaching and an ability to enthuse others would be highly valued. The successful person will need to demonstrate a clear philosophy for the learning of all children; able to demonstrate proven communication skills; able to offer practical strategies that enable children of all abilities to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate should be able to communicate a deep and genuine interest in finding ways to involve young people in learning.
