About this Role

Newquay Tretherras is seeking a committed and ambitious Teacher of Science to join our large, highly successful, creative and dynamic Science department. The Science curriculum has been thoughtfully designed by our team of specialists to engage, challenge and inspire our young people. Our team is made up of many teachers and technicians who all work together collaboratively to inspire our students. We believe that every student is a scientist and our vision for our students is that they are successful, resilient and curious!

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to work within our Science team with the opportunity for A-level teaching for the right candidate. We offer an extensive and highly supportive programme for our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff.

This role requires a teacher who is values-driven, reflective and proactive, with the ability to build strong relationships and adapt their practice to meet the needs of all learners. You will directly contribute to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, in line with our mission of providing a 100% exceptional educational experience for every learner.
