What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Science, specialising in at least one science discipline at GCSE level, to join a dynamic and collaborative faculty.

Soham Village College is a splendid place to work. Our students are hardworking and ambitious, with a most recent progress 8 score of +0.75. Ofsted observed in their recent visit, in June 2024, that students ‘produce work of exceptional quality’, We are proud of our students, who are well-motivated and keen to learn. Ofsted recognised that our ‘pupils are extremely polite and respectful’ and their ‘behaviour is exemplary’.

This role is required from 1st September 2025

Salary range: £ 31,650 - £49,084 Salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.
