What skills and experience we're looking for
Larkmead School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner to start at either Easter 2023 or September 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational, enthusiastic and well qualified teacher to join our thriving Science team. The position is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers. Although all specialisms are encouraged to apply, we are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates with the ability and confidence to teach Chemistry.
As the successful candidate you will be:

What the school offers its staff
Our Science Faculty at Larkmead School is a supportive group of teachers passionate about the subject of Science. We aim to inspire students about the world around them whilst teaching the skills and content necessary for academic success. Helping each other with topics outside our specialisms and supporting with practical work is one of our strengths and our sequencing of the KS3 curriculum shows our creativity in looking at the big science ideas and making links between them. Faculty meetings are one way we have of discussing our curriculum and sharing good practice and everyone is encouraged, regardless of experience, to contribute.
