Are you passionate about science and eager to ignite curiosity in young minds? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our thriving department from September 2025.
The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Inspire students through a curriculum that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Be a proactive member of a collaborative and supportive faculty.
- Play a key role in the academic and personal development of students.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ability to teach Science up to KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork
Desirable:
- Specialism in Physics

We are an 11 – 16 mixed comprehensive of around 1000 students and 150 staff situated to the west of Wigan. We are a community of students, staff, parents and governors with a common goal. We strive for the highest standards in everything we do.
