Icknield High School is a highly successful 11-16 mixed Academy with an excellent reputation, situated in pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town.

We are justifiably proud of our excellent reputation and believe that we offer both students and staff a caring environment in which they can succeed; we are extremely proud of the outcomes for GCSE 9-1 Science in 2025. Overall, 67% of our students achieved a grade 4 or above, 48% achieved a grade 5 or above and 13% achieved a grade 7 or above.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious, inspirational and highly motivated Science Teacher to join our well-resourced Science department.

The successful candidate will be able to display and promote excellence in teaching and learning and have the ability to make a real difference to the outcomes of our students
