Teacher of Science (in the region of 0.6 FTE)

We currently have fixed term (in the region of 0.6 FTE) Teacher of Science position available.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach KS3, KS4 Science and ideally have a specialism in Biology/Chemistry.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science as early as possible from the date of interview or in the Spring Term 2020. Science is a strength at St Peter’s where students enjoy a rich and varied curriculum. Students achieve very high results and consistently make excellent progress:

Candidates will be expected:

• to be able to teach Key Stage 3/Key Stage 4 Science
• to be able to teach Biology/Chemistry
• to have excellent classroom management skills
• to have an engaging style of teaching that can inspire and motivate all levels of ability
