We are seeking to appoint a passionate and talented Teacher of Science, specialising in Chemistry, who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a forward-thinking and supportive Science Faculty that places student progress and engagement at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
Teach Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as potentially triple and combined science. Experience of A Level Chemistry teaching would be desirable.
Inspire and motivate students through excellent subject knowledge, engaging lessons and effective pedagogical strategies.
Contribute to the continued development of an ambitious, knowledge-rich science curriculum.
Promote the highest standards of behaviour, effort and achievement.
Engage fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status and a good degree in a related subject.
Excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry and strong understanding of curriculum and assessment.
Proven ability to teach Physics at Key Stage 5 with strong student outcomes.
High expectations, strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
Reflective, proactive and committed to ongoing professional development.
A collaborative team player with a positive contribution to the school community.
