Teacher of Science job summary
A part-time opportunity has arisen at Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form (KNGS) for an exceptional Teacher of Science. KNGS is an OFSTED outstanding school and is part of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust with a comprehensive intake and a co-educational sixth form. The post is available on a part time, one-year temporary contract working 0.4 FTE each Tuesday and Thursday. ECT applications are welcomed. This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional Teacher of Science to join Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form. We are an outstanding school and achieve excellent pastoral and academic outcomes for students within a culture of care and concern for the well-being of both students and staff. The science faculty is a well-established, dedicated and highly experienced team, working closely with each other to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
The successful applicant will be an effective classroom practitioner, committed to improving learners’ experiences and attainment through working collaboratively and being willing to adopt new ideas. You will have the ability to teach science at KS3 and KS4. In return, we offer excellent CPD within a supportive culture.
