We have large numbers of students studying at least one Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology) at A-level. The Science faculty has an ethos of “inspiring and equipping young people to discover their world” and we believe in using practical work to inspire our students and to support them in developing their investigative skills. In 2018 the school was awarded the Platinum Science Mark, which recognises the outstanding work of the Science faculty. The faculty has a very successful YouTube Channel and a Facebook page which we encourage you to visit.
