What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced science teacher to teach the full age and ability range of KS3/4 from September 2023.

The Mountbatten School Science Faculty is a forward-looking, successful team that delivers excellent outcomes for students and benefits from recently modernised teaching spaces. Collaborative planning, sensible and focussed marking & assessment practices, as well as excellent whole school CPD opportunities make this a fantastic place to work and develop your career.

In addition the recently launched Mountbatten Science Academy provides opportunities to get involved with cross phase STEM development projects, delivering teacher CPD and assisting with the delivery of subject specific ITT workshops.

Initially the successful candidate will be appointed on a 12 month maternity cover basis starting in September 2023. There is a significant possibility that due to the development of the Science Academy this contract could be extended.

The post would be most suitable for an experienced teacher.
