We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic science teacher who is passionate about their subject. The successful applicant would join a committed, collaborative and friendly team. Over the last few years the Science department at Nicholas Breakspear has seen a significant improvement in exam results which has led to it becoming the most popular department at A Level within the school. At A Level, results in all three Sciences put the school in the top 25% of schools nationally for student progress. Interviews may take place before the closing date so early applications are welcomed.

The School’s latest Ofsted inspection in November 2023 rated Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School as ‘Outstanding’.

Nicholas Breakspear is a vibrant, nurturing and ambitious school. Situated on the outskirts of St Albans the school benefits from large spacious grounds and close links to London. Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It is also part of The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust (DOWAT), which sponsors eleven faith schools in the Diocese of Westminster.
