Teacher of Science plus TLR responsibility for the right candidate job summary
Chiswick School staff are brilliant, work hard, look after each other and have lots of fun. We share a moral purpose that is rooted in providing brilliant opportunities for our students. Our team delivers a shared, knowledge-rich curriculum which supports students' pedagogical needs to the best of our ability. Our vision is that all students, regardless of their ability and prior scientific knowledge, are inspired to learn and that they thrive doing so.
The school is heavily oversubscribed and remains the first choice school for many parents in Hounslow. Shortlisted for the TES School of the Year Award in 2022 and 2023 and in 2023 winner of the TES Best Arts Provision category. OFSTED rated the school as good with outstanding features in February 2020 and in January 2025, Ofsted returned for an ungraded inspection which highlighted significant improvement in all areas since their last visit. They were so impressed that they will be returning to carry out a full inspection to allow the school to showcase all areas with a graded inspection/report.
