Alston Moor Federation was created in 2015 as the merger of Samuel King’s School, Alston Primary School and Nenthead Primary School. We are all community schools, and we work closely with Cumbria Local Authority. We have a very prominent site in the middle of Alston, which accommodates both Samuel King’s School and Alston Primary School. Nenthead Primary school is approximately five miles away in a nearby village. Our modern site provides excellent facilities in the interesting town of Alston in the wonderful North Pennines countryside. There are currently 220 students on roll, with around 100 pupils in Samuel King’s School.
This post will be mainly focused on working in our secondary school, Samuel King’s School, and the ability to offer a related subject would be helpful. The post is available as the school is growing and we need to be able to teach an increasing number of children whose parents are choosing Samuel King’s School.
