TEACHER OF SCIENCE
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for innovative teaching with a vision to transform learning. You will have proven ability to raise expectations and standards for all students. You will also have the energy, enthusiasm, and love of teaching aligned with the passion to make a difference.

They should be a hardworking, creative, energetic, and an excellent classroom practitioner. They will have the capacity to help us establish a vibrant learning environment, and a culture of enthusiasm for learning. Their professionalism and dedication will enable our students to achieve more than they believe possible.
The Science Department is part of the Science and Technology Faculty. The range of subjects within the faculty include: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Sciences, Design Technology, Textiles, Product Design, Food Technology and Visual Arts. They all work in areas that reflect technologically advanced teaching and enable students to produce work at the highest standard.
The Position
Working within the Science and Technology Faculty, the post of Teacher of Science is permanent and full-time. We have a strong commitment to professional development and provide appropriate training to ensure all teachers at the Academy are good and outstanding classroom practitioners as well as enabling them to grow as leaders for the future. We are seeking an outstanding subject specialist who is keen to support the further development of the Science and Technology Faculty.
