Job Title: Teacher of Science

Main job purpose:
The purpose of this role is to inspire and engage pupils in the wonder of science, fostering a passion for inquiry and academic excellence. Delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned instruction in various scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. By creating a dynamic learning environment you will encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff.
- Stay updated with advancements in science education and best teaching practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license for secondary education.
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and pedagogical strategies.
- Experience in teaching science at the secondary level is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
