Hours of work: 0.60-0.84 considered 
 
Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9 dependent on experience 
 
This is a permanent contract starting September 2021 
 
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who has drive, energy and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding Science teaching in post-16 education. 
 
We currently have a vacancy for a teacher to deliver the BTEC Applied Science, BTEC Applied Biology and GCSE Biology but we are also interested to hear from any general science teachers with a background in Biology. 
 
Our expectations of our students are high. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to inspire and motivate students to achieve, as well as be committed to raising standards in the college on our journey to becoming an outstanding institution.

 We have been providing sixth form education for young people and adults across the Gosport, Fareham and wider communities for over 30 years. We offer a comprehensive range of curriculum programmes which includes 16-18 full-time courses, Adult Education (including Access and HE), Work-Based Learning and enhanced provision for student with special educational needs.

We were awarded a Grade 2 inspection outcome by Ofsted in November 2018 and have completed a period of campus development which means that students and staff can benefit from improved access to state-of-the-art teaching, study and support facilities. 

Full-time students have available to them a wide range of high quality vocational courses at all levels with a complementary A-Level offer at Level 3. Our vocational provision at Level 3 has ranked as ALPS 2 for the past four years and currently places the College in the Top 6% of providers nationally for these types of learning programmes.
