Teacher of Science job summary

 The Governors wish to appoint a well-qualified, innovative Teacher of Science. 

 

The Science faculty is a successful forward-looking faculty.  Major responsibility is taken by the Faculty Leader supported by Learning Leaders at each key stage.  The Science faculty currently consists of ten members of staff, six of whom are part-time, and in addition there is one full time and two part time Technicians.  It is a very supportive Faculty, with nine laboratories and a number of preparation rooms.  

 

The Faculty has a successful Key Stage 3 curriculum and teachers both Combined Science and Separate Sciences at GCSE.  The successful candidate will be able to teach Science up to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
